Esketamine Nasal Treatment
We are now an approved SPRAVATO treatment Centre.
SPRAVATO is a Schedule 8 medicine and is a Nasal spray that is self-administered by the patient under the supervision of a healthcare professional at Empathia clinic. We have undertaken the SPRAVATO Readiness Program, completed comprehensive training and assessment requirements to be certified as a SPRAVATO Treatment Centre, and we are now accepting referrals.
About Esketamine
As SPRAVATO is taken at regular intervals, this gives you the opportunity to keep meeting with your healthcare team, who will work with you to make the most of every opportunity to help you get better, and continue to assess how well SPRAVATO is working for you.
In the induction phase, SPRAVATO is taken twice a week in the first 4 weeks of treatment.
In the maintenance phase, SPRAVATO is taken once a week for 4 weeks, then either once a week or once every two weeks (as recommended by your medical practitioner).
